With the ozone cover disappearing by the day, there is an ever increasing urgency to protect your favorite automobile from the harmful UV rays of the sun that menace and degenerate your precious vehicle to a great extent. This is why it became essential to create an effective protective cover for your automobile. And the answer to this is the Stormproof – which undeniably has the most effective sun inhibitors. This fabric has been designed with utmost efficacy to give absolute protection to your vehicle.
But that is not the only quality this exceptional car cover fabric has. Did you know that Stormproof is completely untreated and this means that there are no special coatings on the fabric? The thing about coatings is that they soon tend to go away as you use the cover and when the coating is gone, the cover is just a piece of cloth – it is completely unable to offer any protection.
Stormproof on the other hand has a special high UV agent that has been incorporated using the finest Italian machine for UV protection. But there is much more to the fabric than this. Stormproof has very high water resistance and very high breathability as well. The fabric has also been treated for rot and mildew resistance.
Stormproof has actually been made of a petroleum derived synthetic thermoplastic polymeric material. Such material is used to manufacture durable and strong fibers. The fibers are specially treated with heat to give this car cover greater strength and elasticity. The fibers are further strengthened with heated rollers under high pressure. This process effectively imparts high sheen, reduces porosity and stretch. These covers are treated with heat to tighten the weave and as a result the fabric suffer from minimal loss of strength if exposed to the elements such as acid rain, snow, ultra violet radiation, sleet and dust over an extended period of time. |
